SHIFT: review
The Maingear Shift S is a very good gaming computer for those looking to get a computer designed by gamers themselves. This system may not have the best hardware but in the long run, you are still getting plenty of power. We would recommend this product to anyone looking to get a good machine at a fair price.

Maingear EPIC 180 Liquid CPU Cooler Review
"In the end it comes down to whether or not I feel that Maingear is doing right by themselves and their customers with the addition of the EPIC 180 to cool CPUs in their builds. I really have to say, yes, in every way.... Not only does it look good, put our mind at ease and offer terrific efficiency with the massive amount of surface area in the 180mm radiator, I definitely think this is the best choice (of a cooling system) with all considerations taken into account."

“We'd definitely recommend the SHIFT to any of our enthusiast readers looking for a top-notch system, though we'd opt for one at default clock speeds. At stock speeds, the SHIFT is a fantastic blend of speed, low temperatures, and quieter-than-normal operation (particularly if you were to opt for video cards other than the loudish GTX 480s).”

“So we were pretty impressed to crack open Maingear’s new Shift system and find three GTX 480 boards running in tri-SLI. That the company could rate such bounty is testament to its street cred among power users.

The Shift isn’t just about the Fermi cards, though. Maingear also managed to get that other big star of the PC world in for the ride: Intel’s Core i7-980X, which, with help from the Acetek water cooler, Maingear pushes from the stock 3.33GHz to 4.2GHz. ”
